Ever wanted to know what the Playboy Mansion in L.A. looks like? I got lucky and was invited to a party at the Mansion. It was for the "It's all about the Kids" foundation and as far as I know the event was an absolute sucess...;-)

Once again it has been forever since my last blog entry but this will change once my new website will be online later on this summer;-)

This last weekend we had the Global Bollé photoshoot in Colorado and instead of writing a lot I will just post pictures...they say more than words!!! One of the funnest trips I've had for sure!

Bad luck... or is it just meant to be?

Hi guys,

it's been a while I know, but once again I've had a crazy month, going from one injury right into the next one...!

The back injury I suffered in December turned out to be worse than expected: a stress fracture in my spine, a broken disk and a sprained SI-joint kept me off snow for four weeks straight, meaning that the first day of practice at X-Games was my first day back on snow since Dew Tour in December.

I got cortisone shots in my back on the 18th of January, but unfortunately they didn't help me right away so I skied X-Games in pain, but was happy about my performance and happy my back hold up after all that trouble.

Getting my injections at Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail....

Next up was the FIS World Championships in Park City... I already felt less pain in my back, but the pipe was real sketchy and I didn't pull all my tricks out cause the last thing I wanted to do is fall and hurt my back again...I ended up in 7th place. Not too happy, but not too sad about this result neither regarding all my back problems and my lack of training.

After three days off my skis, practice for the last Dew Tour stop in Snowbasin started. I absolutely loved that pipe, it was just amazing and with my back getting better I had big goals for this competition. Once again though the luck was not with me....I crashed really really hard in prelims on a right 540, catching my left ski on the copping and falling straight down to the flat bottom of the pipe, chest first. The pipe was 22 feet high so you can imagine how much that hurt.

I got helicoptered down to the hospital in Ogden and after several X-rays and a CAT scan they only found some fractures in my rips. I guess I was really really lucky and I take it for what it is. Lying in that pipe waiting for medical I seriously thought I was gonna die....couldn't breathe anymore, thought my lungs were punctured...it was just horrible and I was even asking myself why I ski. Women's Freestyle skiing doesn't get the attention we deserve, we are all spending tons of cash to compete and travel all year around and not much comes back.

In the hospital again but this time in Ogden, UT....totally druged up...

I was really scared that I got hurt badly, fortunately the "luck" was on my side and I didn't, but it definitely made me think why I'm skiing and why I'm putting myself in this daily risk.

Thinking about it now, 48 hours after that hard crash I know why I ski: I love it, but there are limits and with the pipes always getting bigger and more icy, the risks are getting bigger.

I'm gonna recover and learn those tricks I wanted to learn for so long now, but in a soft pipe, somewhere where the risks of getting hurt are less high.

Also I did ask myself why it's always me that gets hurt? Every season there is something and I end up in hospitals. Some skiers get hurt more, some less and I'm trying to figure out the reason it's always me. I like to think it's meant to be....but why? I can't figure it out.....

I think I've been hurt more days this season that I've actually been skiing....once again.

I've been working with my new agent and coach. On the few days I've trained with him, my Halfpipe skiing got way better but now I got stopped again with a new injury. I really hope to be back on skis in like two weeks and hopefully be able to have some fun again and conquer my fear that has built up in the last couple of years due to repeating injuries.

I'm determined to come back stronger, like always, but I'm definitely thinking whether it's worth putting myself into this daily risk of getting hurt.

Maybe it is, maybe it is not, but I do know that skiing isn't everything in life, even if I love and would not wanna live without it.

Hi guys,

I'm sitting in the Delta lounge at Detroit airport, waiting for my connecting flight to Amsterdam and I'm really excited to be going home for Christmas;-) Can't wait to eat some Swiss fooooood!!!;-)

I've had a great start with a Podium finish at the 1st Dew Tour in Breckenridge last week. My back is kinda messed up so I will need some time to recover and get all healed up for January but hopefully the Christmas break will be enough for my back to not hurt anymore.

On Monday we shot a little edit with the Faction Team in Keystone. We were just having fun and with my back all messed up I couldn't really ski that well anyways;-)

Hip Hop shows. Kukoo has worked, performed and toured with such
artists as the X-excutioners, DJ Krush, Slick Rick, People Under The
Stairs and Naughty J (NTM). His love for Hip Hop brought him the opportunity

Against the killing of wolfs in Switzerland

I don't know if you have heard or not but an other wolf got shot in Switzerland this week cause it was hungry and actually killed a few cows and some sheep (OMG!!!!!)

It was a couple living together in the Swiss Alps so now the female is left over by itself and authorities want to shoot that 2nd wolf too.

That's too much I thought and created that new facebook page: Against the killing of wolfs in Switzerland.

Farmers would need to protect their livestock with dogs but I guess they are just too lazy to do that.....ridicoulos and pathetic!!!

It's been a while I know;-) I've been enjoying summer though and have been travelling quite a bit.

Here are some pics that show what I've been up to lately;-)

I went to Summer X-Games with my boyfriend, supported him in his competitions, flew up to Mt. Hood for a Bollé photoshoot, hung out in San Diego, was in Newport Beach for the Maloof Money cup to see Adam compete again etc..... It has been a fun summer so far.

Breathe Festival in Itacaré, Brazil

I'm sitting at the airport in Salvador right now, waiting for my next flight to Lisbon.

I spent 9 days here in Brazil at the Breathe Festival in Itacaré, Bahia, and it was an amazing experience.....

As Swatch was a sponsor for this event, me and some other team riders could go down there to check it all out and paticipate.

We planted trees, visited schools, went bird watching, walked in the jungle and much more....

I could write pages and pages but I think the most important is what I've learned on that trip and I've learned quite a bit and it opened my eyes....

Itacaré is definitely not a moden city, no its a little village that tries to live out of tourism. People live in wooden houses, some in better ones, some in houses that don't look like houses to me....most of them walk every where cause they can't afford a car, the ones that can afford a bike or a horse are lucky.

They don't know what to do with their trash so they just throw everything in a whole, away from where people could see it.

All people I've met have been supper nice to me, trying to help when needed, and I do understand portugese now...;-) I was surprised they understood my spanish so well...;-)

It made me realize that you can be happy with nothing....when we visited that school those kids were just sooo happy to see us, we brought them food and cooked for them and I think they will remember that day for a while. Everyone wanted to play with my I-phone, and take pictures with our cameras ...it was amazing to see and I've learned that I'm supper lucky with where I grew up, with all the possiblities I was given to in my life and that most of the people in this world don't have what I have.....

It's been a while.....;-) I've been supper busy and have been back in Europe for 10 days now but had to empty out my whole appartement in those days as I will be moving to Denver, Colorado;-)

WSI Whistler....

I'm on my way back from Whistler, Canada right now and sitting at Seattle airport waiting for my connecting flight to Denver;-)

I flew up to Vancouver a couple of days ago for the last comp of this year, WSI 2010!

It was sunny during the two training days but then unfortunately for the comp day the weather wasn't that great no more....a lil bit of rain and cloudy but the event was great, they kept the pipe in an amazing shape and it was prolly one of the coolest and most layed back comps I have been to this season. I'm glad I finally got to compete in this comp, as for the last two years I was on crutches watching the comp....I made it this year and had a blast! I will definitely be back next year!;-)

Already in qualifying the girls were throwing down hard....some flairs, 900's and 720's.... it was a good show to watch.

In finals everyone was skiing well again, we even saw some 1080 (Jen Hudak and Megan Gunning) and the girls were stepping it up once again! Fortunately my first run was good enough to end up in 3rd place! I finally got my podium this season but know I will have to work hard for next season if I wanna end up on some more podiums;-)

San Diego

My week in San Diego is nearly over....I'm leaving back to Colorado tomorrow to shoot for a week with Seb Viardot (www.sebviardot.com). I gotta shoot my new Bollé ad and some pics for Faction....can't wait to be back on snow!;-)

The week here has been great though, was good to be near the beach for a while and spend some time with my boyfriend. I got to see some of the best skaters in the world skate vert and it was an awesome experience.....I definitely think, after seeing those guys ripping the vert, that skateboarding IS the most difficult action sport out there....still haven't figured out how those guys keep their board on their feet when they jump....lol;-)

Keystone...it's spring time

I'm back in the US right now and had the funnest weekend skiing at Keystone....

Saturday it was snowing and super cold, Sunday it was sunny and super warm....that's just how it is in Colorado and that's why I love it;-)

I'm in San Diego right now and will definitely post some photos from this trip up soon....skating at some of the sickest skateparks right now even though I get made fun of some pro skateboarders that think that they're the "shit".....haha;-) Rollerblading that's what's up!;-)

Salon 29/Woodward/Zurich

I just got back to Zurich and I'm exhausted....

I was spending some time in Denver with my new roommate Lacey before I left and had tons of fun! She is one of the best hairdressers I know and got her own salon downtown Denver. Obviously I wanted her to do my hair before I left so I can look good when I'm in Europe;-) lol

I also want to share some photos from my flight from Amsterdam to Zurich with you guys....we were turning for a while cause Zurich airport was a way too busy to land right away and OMG Switzerland looked soo beautiful from up in the sky! The photos aren't the best, I know, but the Alps looked sooo good and it made me realize how pretty Switzerland is......

I will be leaving to Laax on Monday for the Swatch European Open and I'm excited to be skiing the Swiss alps soon....! Will let you know how everything goes....like always;-)

Today was a fun day, I skied in the morning and then went down to Denver to skate at Woodward...I just love that skatepark down there, it's so big and soo much fun to skate in.

Today was my 2nd training day here in Aspen and qualis are on tomorrow night already!

The pipe is in great shape but really really icy and huge. I'm having a lot of troubles adapting to this big pipe as I'm a way more confortable in smaller pipes.

So far I'm not really happy with my skiing but hey tomorrow is an other day and let's see if I can pull stuff together tomorrow night!

Keystone to Aspen

My drive from Keystone over to Aspen today was everything else than fun.....it was only snowing a lil bit in Keystone when I left but once I got closer to Copper Mountain the Highway started to look like a mountain road.....

I also got a new tatoo on my wrist last Monday so i felt like I should prolly post a photo of that too;-)

First X-Games trainings are on tomorrow, I'm excited and will let ya all know more about that tomorrow night!

Dew Tour and Utah

I just got back to Colorado and I'm quite happy about that;-)

Don't get me wrong, I like Utah but everything is kinda weird...especially in Ogden the town we were staying in! Check out the pics further down and you will see yourself...;-)

The pipe in Snowbasin was sweet, I absolutely loved it! Unfortunately I got cut off by one place and didn't qualify for finals. My first run was really not my best skiing, super scetch but at least I landed....my 2nd run was sooooo much better, everything worked out till I got to my 2nd last trick a right 540 where I fell (don't ask me what I did, I usually don't fall on right 5's!)

I was really bummed cause I really wanted to make finals but hey that's the game! I'll focus on X-Games now which will start in a week already! The ladies were skiing really well and put a great show down, I'm super stoked about that! X-Games will even be better!!!

Biggest american flag I have ever seen.....

Open 24h but closed on Sunday....hmmm....hahaha;-)

Happy New Year and so on....

Happy new year to everyone, I know it's a lil late but better late than never;-)

My Christmas was great, I went back home to Switzerland for 8 days to see my parents and eat some good Swiss food hmmmm...(just thinking about it makes me hungry)

I got back out to CO on the 1st of January and honestly the flight over here wasn't too much fun at all. I flew trough Amsterdam and then with Northwest Airlines to Minneapolis. So basically all I had in mind was that tempted terror attack on Christmas day. Security checks weren't even that much different and that is what freaked me out. I looked at all the people boarding, just checking them out, trying to figure out whether they are harmless or not and this behaviour kinda continued trough the whole flight.....! I think everyone did that though but yeah I defenitely have had more relaxed flights in my life;-)

I made it though and that is what counts;-)

I skied 3 days in a row now and tomorrow I'm gonna take a day off. Breck's Pipe is awesome and Keystone's park sick so I'm in paradise!

Ice skating in Zurich .... so much fun!!!

I was quite busy these last couple of days but today I finally get to answer all my e-mails and post some new pics on my blog...;-)

Our appartement here in Keystone is sick, Elias is staying with Anais and me and it's great living here cause their park is soo much fun! Copper's pipe is real good too (you wouldn't expect something else, they hired the X-Games shaper!!!!), but I definitely prefer to ski Keystone at the moment cause I'm having a way more fun shredding those rails than training hard in that icy 22-foot pipe....;-) (Do I need to explain that?)

I spent the weekend down in the city and had a blast, went skating at Woodward Denver Saturday with Brian and his friends and wooooow......it was soo good to see those guys skating, I really wanna skate more and get better at it! They killed it hard and made Skateboarders look weak!;-)

The Nuggets game was on on Saturday night and they won which made the game even better!!!

I'm waiting for my connecting flight in Paris right now and have enough time to upload some photos to share with you.

Yesterday I flew down to Biarritz, France and got there kinda late. The guys from Pull-in (www.pull-in.com) picked me up from the airport and drove me straight to my hotel.

This morning the alarm clock rang quite early cause in one morning we had to shoot my ad for this winter season that you will see in differents mags quite soon....;-)

Anyway, I gotta board my flight to Geneva ......I gotta go!

One day in Diablerets

Today was a fun day up on the Glacier 3000 in Diablerets. The weather was perfect with sun and no wind and I skied with my friend François that I haven't seen for months, we just had a blast. The park itself wasn't the best, they didn't shape the rails for today so that was actually the bummer of the whole day. The jumps were ok, lil small but fun to start off the season.

It was just super nice to ski again and I can't wait to get over to the US and start skiing the fun parks in Keystone and Breck. The view today was incredible check it out yourself:

New Certificates ;-)

Today was my last day of Make-up Artist school for a while. I will take a break over winter and continue in spring but I only have 4 weeks of school left so I'm pretty stoked to have gotten that far already!

The big part in spring will be the Artist of Mask which includes all the injuries and other cool stuff and then of course the final exam!

I got two new diplomas today, I'm officially a Show Make-up Artist and a Camouflagist now! ;-)

I just got to Amsterdam and I'm waiting for my next flight to Zurich but still got like an hour till I have to get on...

We drove down from Yucca Valley on Thursday, I got my car, checked in in my hotel in El Segundo, went shopping and relaxed cause I was pretty hang over;-) Friday I had to go to a Casting up in Hollywood and later I picked up my Swiss friend from the airport and we went for a Sushi dinner at Manhatten Beach!

Saturday I showed him around Hollywood and we went to Universal Studios and partied a bit at night at some bar in Hollywood where every single person wants to be an actor or a model haha;-) It was quite funny actually!

Sunday we were up in Bel Air cause a Snowboard friend of mine had a lil shoot up there in some sick house and at night we went to Knott's Berry Scary Farm! I bascially screamed all night;-)

Monday I drove down to Newport Beach to meet up with Otto Models and then back up to Manhatten Beach before hitting to the airport to catch my flight.

Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree with Peak Performance

I'm in L.A right now and finally have some time to post some pics from the Peak Performance shoot we had up in Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree.

We flew in to LAX last week and drove straight up to Yucca Valley. The motel wasn't the best I've seen but it was still ok , it's good to not stay in the best hotels all the time, I get too used to it! ;-)

Having Said, the professional climber on this trip I had to try climbing. Wow, it is super hard and it really really hurts your hands....I think I prefer indoor climbing cause it is definitely easier than this. Said was climing some really insane routes.

Peak Performance meetng in Stockholm

I'm back from Stockholm but wanna go back there asap! ;-)

I had a blast and the whole weekend with the Peak Performance team was so much fun!

We were staying in one of the best hotels in the city, went for nice dinners with a lot of wine, went fishing, partied, talked about products, met all the designers and other people working for Peak Performance, saw the HQ, shot some video and pictures and I now know most of my teammates which is awesome!

I'm back in Zurich right now and packing my bags for my next trip, a photoshoot with Peak Performance in California. I'm leaving Thursday morning and can't wait to get there!

I just finished two weeks of make up artist school in Zurich and I had a blast!

I'm officially a hairstylist too now;-)

It was real good to continue that school and I can't wait till november when I will have school again for 9 full days!

I'm still in Zurich right now at my parents house and can't wait to chill for the next few days....I'm pretty exhausted from my summer programm; NZ, University exams, make-up artist school....

I'm ready for some time off!;-)

I might go horse riding with a friend this week, work out, sleep in, watch tv and movies and chat online cause in 7 days I'll already be in Stockholm, Sweden for a Peak Performance meeting again.

Jep that is how it looks on my desk these days! Ever since I got back from NZ I've just been studying and studying....

I already flew out to Düsseldorf, Germany once this week to write a Marketing exam and I will fly out Monday the 14th again to write an Enterprenership exam....;-)

I can't wait till those exams are over and till I will be able to do other stuff during my days than sitting on my desk and use my brain from morning till late at night!

I will post some news soon....! Gotta go back and calculate some different investement options;-)

I'm still in NZ and I'm having tons of fun! It's great to be back on my skis....unfortunately the weather hasn't really been on our side but hopefully this will change soon (I keep on saying that, actually....)! ;-)

I'm just super stoked about everything right now! I decided not to participate in the NZ open cause I'm not quite ready to compete yet but I got asked if I wanted to judge...Of course I said yes so the NZ open is my 3rd big event (after Euro Open 08 and Freestyle.ch 08) I'm juding in and I'm having a blast. Today the riders were throughing down hard! Unfortunately we couldn't finish the guys qualifying so we gotta finish that tomorrow together with the pipe comp.

I just got back from Arizona and again I prefered to tan in the sun than update my blog....;-) Anyway me and my boy first spent a few days in Scottsdale before driving to Anaheim, CA, where we stayed at one of the hotels in Disneyland.

Disneyland was so much fun, all the rides and the shows were great....It's a real dreamland and Im stoked to finally have gone there....it's been a dream ever since I was a little girl and now with 26 I made it;-) lol

We also spent a day at Universal Studios and half a day at Venice Beach.

We then drove back to Scottsdale to spend the last 4 days in the sun and the hot weather...we minigolfed ( I lost), we played pool ( I lost), we played ping pong (I lost again...) and we went to see a couple movies.

Hi,

It's been a while I know...;-) Travelling, updating my website, skiing , streching, eating, watching movies, reading, studying, sleeping and talking on the phone had not let me any time to actually update my blog very often;-)

Anyways, I'm back now and will hopefully update my blog a bit more often;-)

After the Euro Open in Laax I stayed in Zurich for a couple of days with my parents and did stuff I usually never get to do: I went to see a play and a concert and I had a blast!

After 3 days in Zurich I drove to my place in Diablerets and had to deal with tons of paper work and unpack all my stuff from my long travels do actually repack it all together cause I was supposed to leave to France two days later.....

On my way to France well I stopped in Geneva so the doctors could take a look at my knee....

What they told me was basically that my cartilage is totally torn now and that it would be the best to have surgery asap.

My trip to France fell through cause the surgery was planned for last Friday.....

I'm glad I got it done though and I'm just chilling at home now, studying and doing all the stuff I haven't had time to do ;-)

I'm leaving to Canada next week for 11 days so I don't get too bored being at home on crutches;-)

X-Games are over!

Hey everyone,

X-Games are over and after one year out of competition I did my first comp again and to be honest it felt kinda weird and Im not stoked at all but I guess that is just the beginning cause Im ready to continue where I left last year and that is on the podiums;-)

anyways even though X-Games went bad I want to thank Durrance sports in Aspen, Dimo and Alex and also Bill from the Aspen Club for their great work....Dimo tuned my skis just perfectly and Alex has been supporting me so much its unbebelivable and Bill was working on my knee for a couple of days and without you guys this would have been so much more difficult!

Big up to everyone!

Tomorrow I'll hit to Denver and then fly to Vegas for two days for the Trad show that is going on over there...should be tons of fun;-)

Hey everyone!

I've been in Breckenridge since the 9th of January and got 6 days of skiing in;-)

It's been great to be back on the snow and I'm having a Blast.

I will be hitting to Aspen tomorrow as my training will start on Monday from 4pm-8pm.

I cant wait to shred that X-Games pipe but first of all Im really looking forwards to my massage tomorrow haha;-)

Meanwhile you can check out my first days back on the snow after 11 months of injuries ;-)

There is still a lot of work to do but I still have 3 more days of training before X-games

Enjoy the time on the snow and be careful and especially keep the fingers crossed for me on Friday night!

Hey there,

I hope you all had a merry Christmas!!! I hope you didnt eat as much as I did;-) I feel like a pig right now....gotta go do some sport in the following days haha...

I got back to Europe the 24th in the morning and was falling asleep all the time at the christmas dinner...horrible!!!

Next year Ill fly back one day earlier cause I tell you it wasnt that much fun!;-)

Anyways i got back to my place today, i spent Christmas at my parents house in Zurich.

Its good to be back home in my flat.

Tomorrow Ill go do some cross country skiing and pay all the bills that have come over the last few weeks;-)

Hey there,

Im starting a blog like everyone else ;-)

Anyways as I only post news on my website once a month I thought a blog could be a good thing to do;-)

So here I am....

Im in Frisco right now, wanted to go skiing but its just a way too cold and too stormy to go out there today! I also was at the Denver nuggets game in Denver last night so I came back quite late and need to rest a bit today;-)
