Overview Winter 09

Knee surgery

Hi,

It's been a while I know...;-) Travelling, updating my website, skiing , streching, eating, watching movies, reading, studying, sleeping and talking on the phone had not let me any time to actually update my blog very often;-)

Anyways, I'm back now and will hopefully update my blog a bit more often;-)

After the Euro Open in Laax I stayed in Zurich for a couple of days with my parents and did stuff I usually never get to do: I went to see a play and a concert and I had a blast!

After 3 days in Zurich I drove to my place in Diablerets and had to deal with tons of paper work and unpack all my stuff from my long travels do actually repack it all together cause I was supposed to leave to France two days later.....

On my way to France well I stopped in Geneva so the doctors could take a look at my knee....

What they told me was basically that my cartilage is totally torn now and that it would be the best to have surgery asap.

My trip to France fell through cause the surgery was planned for last Friday.....

I'm glad I got it done though and I'm just chilling at home now, studying and doing all the stuff I haven't had time to do ;-)

I'm leaving to Canada next week for 11 days so I don't get too bored being at home on crutches;-)

X-Games are over!

Hey everyone,

X-Games are over and after one year out of competition I did my first comp again and to be honest it felt kinda weird and Im not stoked at all but I guess that is just the beginning cause Im ready to continue where I left last year and that is on the podiums;-)

anyways even though X-Games went bad I want to thank Durrance sports in Aspen, Dimo and Alex and also Bill from the Aspen Club for their great work....Dimo tuned my skis just perfectly and Alex has been supporting me so much its unbebelivable and Bill was working on my knee for a couple of days and without you guys this would have been so much more difficult!

Tomorrow I'll hit to Denver and then fly to Vegas for two days for the Trad show that is going on over there...should be tons of fun;-)

Hey everyone!

I've been in Breckenridge since the 9th of January and got 6 days of skiing in;-)

It's been great to be back on the snow and I'm having a Blast.

I will be hitting to Aspen tomorrow as my training will start on Monday from 4pm-8pm.

I cant wait to shred that X-Games pipe but first of all Im really looking forwards to my massage tomorrow haha;-)

Meanwhile you can check out my first days back on the snow after 11 months of injuries ;-) 

There is still a lot of work to do but I still have 3 more days of training before X-games

Enjoy the time on the snow and be careful and especially keep the fingers crossed for me on Friday night!

Hey there,

I hope you all had a merry Christmas!!! I hope you didnt eat as much as I did;-) I feel like a pig right now....gotta go do some sport in the following days haha...

I got back to Europe the 24th in the morning and was falling asleep all the time at the christmas dinner...horrible!!!

Next year Ill fly back one day earlier cause I tell you it wasnt that much fun!;-)

Anyways i got back to my place today, i spent Christmas at my parents house in Zurich.

Its good to be back home in my flat.

Tomorrow Ill go do some cross country skiing and pay all the bills that have come over the last few weeks;-)

Hey there,

Im starting a blog like everyone else ;-)

Anyways as I only post news on my website once a month I thought a blog could be a good thing to do;-)

So here I am....

Im in Frisco right now, wanted to go skiing but its just a way too cold and too stormy to go out there today! I also  was at the Denver nuggets game in Denver last night so I came back quite late and need to rest a bit today;-)
